Matthias Seger, Paolo Duca, Victor Stancescu and other people involved in hockey founded the SIHPU association in 2016 with the idea of establishing an institution to represent the interests of active players. In the course of the first years this vision became concrete, and today it can be stated that SIHPU is committed to the players in the areas of safety, transfer, career planning, fair sportsmanship and training.
